The unique, classic Pilates reformer, created by Balanced Body is a result of many months of cooperation with Joseph Pilates’ direct student – Jay Grimes – and his protégé and long-time collaborator, one of the most respected Pilates mentors nowadays – Karen Frischmann.

The Contrology Reformer is a faithful re-creation of the classic reformer made for Jay Grimes around 1980. Its creators were motivated by the idea of making a device that would perfectly re-create the original design, compliant with the ideas and intentions of Joseph Pilates, which would provide, thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technologies and traditional handicraft methods, smooth operation and, at the same time, be more demanding for users.

The Contrology Reformer has been equipped with a range of solutions which make it possible to return to the type of exercises used on the first original machines created by Joseph Pilates. Unique springs and their attachment method, footbar angle, extruded aluminium frame and contoured shoulder rests will pose a greater challenge for users, but at the same time allow them to reach the expected training goals faster.

The Contrology Reformer is the best version of the original machines, re-creating in the smallest detail all their functions, the working mode, and the most subtle details, essential for classic Pilates.
